3 Things to do in Dubai During the Long Weekend

Another long weekend is here for you to enjoy and make the most out of! Phew, what a relief it is to know that you get an extra day to relax and do some activities you really cherish.

This Thursday, in lieu of Prophet Muhammad’s(PBUH) birthday, the UAE government has announced a public holiday. There is a lot to explore in this three-day weekend, and we promise you’re going to enjoy every bit of it.

Apart from the EXPO 2020 that many people are waiting to visit and experience, a few other attractions are also worth checking out! So get ready, here are 3 activities that you could and should do on this long weekend in Dubai.

1.   Visit the Newly Opened Madame Tussauds Museum

The mind-boggling museum that displays the wax replicas of renowned personalities from across the globe has opened its doors in Dubai. Located at Bluewaters Island, Madame Tussauds Dubai has 7 thematic rooms, all of which feature marvelously carved figurines of impactful people from political to cinematical backgrounds. Get a chance to create some beautiful memories and click some great pictures around your favorite celebrities.

2.   Observe The City’s Beautiful Skyline From Ain Dubai

It would be totally wrong to say that we aren’t excited to visit this masterpiece that is located at the Bluewaters Island of Dubai Marina! The world’s tallest observation wheel opens to the public on 21 October 2021 and has 48 air-conditioned cabins for the visitors to get on and get a bird’s eye view of the city. Dubai Ain is hands down one of the most mesmerizing attractions in Dubai, and the view makes the visit totally worth it.

3.   Experience The Different Parts Of The World At EXPO 2020

Over 191 countries have their pavilions at the EXPO 2020, which means you get to witness the dynamic culture of several places. Each pavilion has its own beauty, essence, and aura that instantly makes you feel like you are in that very country. Apart from this experience, there are also some fun activities at these pavilions that make your visit even better. Here’s what all you shouldn’t miss out on when at EXPO 2020:

  • The giant ball pit and the swings at the graduation hall of the Germany Pavilion.
  • Vertical cinema at the Korea Pavilion.
  • “Garden In The Sky” observation tower that gets you a view of the site.
